International Film Festival
The annual Eternity Pictures Film Festival brings together the best cinematographers in the world. Under the leadership of an international selection committee — recognized masters of cinema, members of prestigious academies and laureates of leading film awards — the festival opens up new names, inspires creativity and sets standards for the future. Since 2020, the festival has been held in digital format, and since 2025 it will switch to the new Phygital* format.

Pre-selection conditions

Only films that meet the following conditions can receive the "Official Selection" status:
Films shot between January 01, 2025 and March 01, 2026.
Films shot in any area of the world, except sensitive areas.
Films that have not been freely published.
Item 2. Duration of the movie
The film festival is open to participants:
short films lasting up to 40 minutes, including credits.

Item 4. Identification of production characteristics
Each film copyright holder must provide information on the number of personnel involved in the production of the film (including preliminary ones, provided accurate information is not available), as well as information on the equipment used (characteristics of the camera: manufacturer, make and model) and the budget of the film. The indicators that fall under the category of production performance identifiers are not public and are available to the Festival Management.

Movie Sections
Quality and diversity is a key aspect of the film festival. This approach allows us to study the entire range of films from the point of view of international industrial standards in order to identify directors and films that deserve a fair future.
Simple electronic signature
In accordance with the legislation of the Russian Federation (art. 160 of the Civil Code of the Russian Federation), an electronic application for submitting a film is signed with a simple electronic signature when you put a checkbox (tick) in the appropriate field, and also enter the text "Sign" from the keyboard, where it has the force of a handwritten signature.
- Short feature films. In this section, the applicant (the creator of the film (producer); the director of photography or an authorized person of the creator of the film (producer) can submit a short feature film in a certain genre in the amount of no more than 1 unit.
- Short documentaries. In this section, the applicant (the creator of the film (producer); the director of photography or an authorized person of the creator of the film (producer) can submit a short documentary in a certain genre in the amount of no more than 1 unit.
- Pseudo-documentary short films. In this section, the applicant (the creator of the film (producer); the director of photography or an authorized person of the creator of the film (producer) can submit a short pseudo-documentary film in a certain genre in the amount of no more than 1 unit.
- Animated short films. In this section, the applicant (the creator of the film (producer); the director of photography or an authorized person of the creator of the film (producer) can submit a short animated film in a certain genre in the amount of no more than 1 unit.
Simple electronic signature
In accordance with the legislation of the Russian Federation (art. 160 of the Civil Code of the Russian Federation), an electronic application for submitting a film is signed with a simple electronic signature when you put a checkbox (tick) in the appropriate field, and also enter the text "Sign" from the keyboard, where it has the force of a handwritten signature.
Rules
Article 1. The Film Festival remains faithful to its initial goal: to draw attention to films, to increase their importance in order to promote the development of the regional cinematography industry in Russia and the CIS countries - first of all (priority), in any other territories of the world (secondary). Identifying talents and establishing business support is also an important task.
Article 2. The selection Committee is formed by the decision of the President of the film Festival. The selection committee reviews the works, assigns the status of "Official Selection" and allows participation in the 2nd and subsequent qualifying rounds. Igor Garin, the Organizer and President of the festival, the Copyright Holder of the brand Eternity Pictures, is the guarantor of the transparency of all selection and award processes.
Article 3.Only films that meet the following conditions can be selected by the selection committee for the "Official Selection" status:
Films shot between January 01, 2025 and March 01, 2026.
Films shot in Russia and the CIS countries;
Films that have not been publicly available on the Internet;
Films with a duration of no more than 40 minutes along with the credits.
Article 4. The Selection Committee may request additional materials (media kit/press kit).
Article 5. After a film has received the status of an "Official Choice", it cannot be excluded from the Festival program, except in cases determined by the Festival President.
Article 6. During the entire festival, none of the selected films with the status of "Official Selection" can be shown publicly, including digital technologies, the Internet and commercial screenings (VOD, etc.).
Article 7. All films must be presented in the original language. "Original language" means the language in which the film is shown or will be shown in its country of origin.
Article 8. The Chairman of the selection committee (the President of the festival) appoints the members of the Jury. The Jury members take part in the screening of films and other works submitted (in accordance with the regulations) during the qualifying round. The Chairman of the selection committee receives the results of a closed (secret) vote from all members of the Jury and decides on the Winners of the Festival in a particular nomination. The jury may not include a person who participated in the production of the film/ poster or the use of the film and other works in the competition.
Article 9. Works participate in the competition, where the director, screenwriter, copyright holder of the film or an official representative can apply for participation in the Festival in a specific nomination once. As part of the 2025 Festival, the Jury is required to award: The Best Short Film, the Best Feature Film.
Article 10. The winner receives a digital or physical certificate of participation, a partnership with Eternity Pictures for the digital distribution of content on the platform. www.eternitypictures.ru .
Article 11. Films are uploaded online to cloud storage without the possibility of public access with the generation of a secret link and password to the archive when submitting an electronic application signed with a simple electronic signature. Applicants undertake by any means to preserve the confidentiality of the created link with the film.
Article 12. Territorial restrictions. Territorial restrictions have been introduced in the current festival session, and therefore participants residing in these territories cannot be allowed to participate in the film festival. Territorial restrictions are provided for cinematographers from Ukraine.
Article 13. Films for participation in the official selection must be submitted by March 01, 2026.
Article 15. Qualifying rounds of the Festival:
Round 1 (First): accepting applications for participation in the Festival.
Round 2 (Second): watching films that were received as part of the 1st Round. The selection committee, headed by the Chairman of the selection committee, performs an expert assessment of the profile criteria, forming a screening list and a shortlist in dynamic mode during the receipt of applications.
Round 3 (Third): Participants who have received the status of "Official Choice" are allowed to the third qualifying round, demonstrating practical digital production skills and attracting an audience to vote for their persona and submitted film or poster. This selection round is carried out using the specialized service of the Digital Voting website and implies a simple, free registration of voters in the system with the further submission of a form with the choice of the director and his film / poster. Digital voting lasts 24 hours.
Round 4 (Fourth): The Chairman of the selection committee, headed by all members of the Jury, performs a final review of the works and analyzes the results of the digital voting. Each member of the Jury makes its own verdict (conclusion).
Round 5 (Fifth): Based on all information received from the Jury members, the Chairman of the selection committee makes a Decision on the Victory of a participant in the declared nomination with the issuance of all prizes due to him within the prescribed time (from 1 to 30 calendar days). Date of publication of the festival Results on the Festival page + press release on the website.
Article 16. The President of the Festival has the right to resolve all cases that do not fall within the scope of these rules and regulations.
Article 17. Information about the results of each round, the formation of a database of accepted applications, digital voting and the final results of the festival are published only on the official web / digital resources of Eternity Pictures.
